RI02: Route 1 (Chamberlayne Avenue)
Route 197 (W. Laburnum Avenue) to I-95
Project Purpose
The purpose of the project is to improve vehicular safety and multimodal (pedestrian, bicycle, and transit) access and operations. The study corridor along Route 1 (Chamberlayne Avenue) includes multiple segments with vehicular safety concerns as identified by the Potential for Safety Improvement segment rankings (131st, 208th, 221st, etc.).
Survey
The survey regarding potential transportation safety, operations, transit, transit access and bicycle/pedestrian improvements along Chamberlayne Avenue between W. Laburnum Avenue and I-95 is complete.
