Route 460 Business (Timberlake Road) to Route 681 (Sunburst Road)
Project Purpose
The objectives of the study are to improve vehicular and pedestrian safety concerns along the corridor as identified by the Potential for Safety Improvement intersection (17th, 22nd, 48th, etc.) and segment rankings (35th, 110th, 146th, etc.). Additionally, congestion mitigation is a project need. Goals for the corridor include reducing vehicular and pedestrian crashes, improving access management, ultimately developing short-, medium-, and long-term solutions for vehicles, pedestrians, and bicycles.
Survey
The survey regarding potential transportation safety, congestion, and bicycle/pedestrian improvements along Route 682 (Leesville Road) between Timberlake Road and Sunburst Road is complete.
