Park Avenue to Boxwood Court
Project Purpose
The purpose of the study is to improve vehicular safety and non-motorized (pedestrian and bicycle) access and operations. The study area includes two intersections and multiple segments identified as needing safety improvements. Project goals for the corridor include reducing vehicular and pedestrian crashes, improving access management, and ultimately developing short, medium, and long-term solutions for vehicles, pedestrians, and bicycles.
Survey
The survey regarding potential transportation safety, operations and bicycle/pedestrian improvements along Route 29 Business/3772 (Piedmont Drive) between Park Avenue and Boxwood Court is complete.
