Bower Road TO Keagy Road (Route 685)
The survey regarding potential capacity preservation, safety, and pedestrian and transit access improvements along Route 419 (Electric Rd.) between Keagy Rd. (Route 685) and Bower Rd. in Roanoke County and the City of Roanoke is complete.
The project objectives are to address safety, capacity preservation, and pedestrian, bicycle, and transit access concerns along the Route 419 (Electric Road) corridor. One node and 2 segments were identified as VTrans Priority 1 needs along the study corridor, with 10 additional segments identified as Priority 2 needs. Goals are to identify safety and operational improvements to improve safety and access for all transportation users.
