Patterson Avenue TO I-64
The survey regarding potential transportation safety, operations, congestion mitigation, capacity preservation and bicycle/pedestrian improvements along Route 73 (Parham Rd.) between Patterson Ave. and I-64 is complete.
The project objectives are to address congestion mitigation and capacity preservation along the Parham Road corridor, along with bicycle and pedestrian safety concerns. Two nodes and 13 segments were identified as VTrans Priority 1 needs along the study corridor, with 10 additional segments identified as Priority 2 needs. Goals are to identify safety and capacity mitigation improvements to improve and preserve the safety and capacity of the corridor for all transportation users.
