Fairfield Avenue TO Springdale Road
The survey regarding potential transportation safety, operations, congestion mitigation, capacity preservation and bicycle/pedestrian improvements along Route 360 (Mechanicsville Tpk.) between Fairfield Ave. and Springdale Rd. is complete.
Project objectives are to address bicycle and pedestrian safety concerns and to conduct congestion mitigation and capacity preservation along the subject corridor. Two nodes and 17 segments were identifed as VTrans Priority 1 needs along the study corridor. Goals are to identify safety and capacity mitigation improvements to improve and preserve the safety and capcity of the corridor for all transportation users.
